Reddit is very good social network to connect with amazing community through joining subreddits. It was launched at 2005 by University of Virginia’s three roommates in United State of America. 42% of its users comes from USA, 8% from UK and 7 % from Canada as per latest report. It is a very good platform to share your thought, news, videos, marketing strategies , blogging tips to the world. As most of the traffic of Reddit comes from USA, UK, Canada so, if you share your articles at Reddit , you will get good traffic from there in your websites. Some important things to remember before using subreddits i.e.
- Easy to join:- You can join easily at any subreddit but it is important to follow the subreddit community rule. Be a valuable member of subreddits, follow the rule, do comments, share your thought. Check the community rule before posting anything.
- Upvote/ Downvote:- It is a reddit’s voting method. Upvote uses for approval purpose and Downvote uses for disapproval purpose.
- Karma:- You will get karma when someone Upvote/ Downvote in your shared or post articles. Karma are two types i.e. post Karma and Comment Karma. You will get post Karma when someone Upvotes in your post and you will get comment Karma when someone Upvotes in your comments. Karma will give you the exact figures, how much contribution you have in Reddit.
- AMA:- Its stands for Ask Me Anything. It is a online questions and answer sessions forum where Reddit’s community ask a questions on specific topics.
- Don’t Spam:– If you try to spam over any subreddits platform, moderator will block you from posting anything.
