How to Port Your Number
You need to send the text message to 1900 by writing PORT<space><Mobile No>. You will get a unique UPC code within few minutes after sending the message. The UPC code is only valid for 4 days.
Can I port my sim online?
You can do it online or you can visit the nearest telecom operator store along with an Original Aadhaar Card. You will get a new sim card for the new telecom operator. Keep in mind it will take almost 4 to 7 days to complete the full process according to the location. For Jammu & Kashmir and northeast states, it can take up to 15 days. At that time of the actual process, your mobile number might not work for 2- 3 hours.
How to Check MNP Status Online?
1. Visit the website mnpindia

2. Fill up your mobile number, UPC code, Re-enter UPC code. Then tick on I am not a Robot.
3. Click Submit.
4. You will see the message Port accepted.

How to withdraw porting requests?
In order to cancel porting request send a message to 1900 by writing CANCEL <Space> < Mobile No> within 24 hours of submitting a porting request.
What is the validity period of UPC?
UPC is valid for 4 days for all states except Jammu & Kashmir, Northeast, and Assam where UPC will be valid for 30 days.
How the subscriber will be informed about the porting process?
Subscribers will be informed through SMS on every part of the process.
