1. Burj Khalifa(Height of 830 Metres):-

It was known as Burj Dubai before it’s inauguration. It is situated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with a total height of 830 metres and 163 floors. The building was renamed as Burj Khalifa for honor of the president of United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It’s construction was started  in january, 2004 and was completed at October , 2009. But officially inauguration was started at 4th January , 2010. The tower was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM)  engineering company which develops willis Tower and One world Trade Centre. Mainly south east Asian workers were participated in these construction. The main structure was built by more than 4,000 tonnes of steel.The designer was Adrian Smith. Burj Khalifa known as the most tallest building in the world.

2. Shanghai Tower( Height of 632 Metres):-

Shanghai Tower is the world’s second-tallest building with a height of 632 Metres and 128 floors . It is situated at Shanghai in China. It was designed by international design firm Gensler accompanied with Shanghai famous architect Jun Xia. This provides nine separate zones for office , hotel and retailers. The construction was started at 2008 and was completed in 2014. Yeti Construction and Development is the owner of the shanghai tower. This tower approximated construction cost of was US$2.4 billion. It is also known as the world tallest twisted building.

3. Abraj Al Bait (Height of 601 Metres):-

Abraj Al Bait is the 3rd tallest building in the world with height of 601 metres and 120 floors. It is situated at Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This is the tallest building with a clock face.The clock tower contains the Clock Tower Museum that occupies top four floors of the tower. The total cost of construction was US $15 billion. This tower has two larger prayer rooms for both men and women. These two rooms has capacity of holding more than 10000 peoples together. It also contains five star hotel, shopping mall and parking garage. The main architect were SL Rasch GmbH and Dar Al Handasah .The building is topped by a four side with clock that is also visible from 25 km away.

4. Ping An Finance Centre (Height of 599 Metres):-

Ping an Finance center is now 4th tallest building in the world with height of 599 metres and 115 floors. It is situated in Shenzhen in China. It was designed by the American construction company Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and it is the 2nd most tallest building in china. The building contains offices, hotels, retailer rooms, big conference centers and shopping malls. Approx 1700 tonnes steels were used for designing these building. The approximate construction cost was US $1.5 billion. Construction was started in 2010 and was completed at March, 2017.

5. Lotte World Tower (Height of 554.5 Metres):-

Lotte World Tower is 5th tallest building in the world with height of 554.5 metres and 123 floors. It is situated at Seoul in South Korea. Main architect was Kohn Pedersen Fox. Construction work was started in Feb,2011 and was completed at the end of the year 2016. This building contains office, hotel , residence, lobby, parking spot etc. Approximately 3,000 tons steel was used in construction. The builder of the tower was Lotte Engineering & Construction.
